Duties
Review and analyze bankruptcy documentation to determine the best course of action.
Communicate with attorneys, trustees, and debtors regarding bankruptcy proceedings.
Monitor bankruptcy accounts to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
Collaborate with internal teams to address bankruptcy-related inquiries and resolve issues.
Stay informed of up-to-date bankruptcy laws and regulations.
Provide recommendations and strategies for bankruptcy case resolutions.
Requirements
Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and bankruptcy laws.
2 years of experience is required.
Experience in escrow, loan processing, credit analysis, and underwriting.
Familiarity with FNMA guidelines and loan origination processes.
Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform basic calculations.
Prior experience in the financial services sector or a related field is preferred.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
Certifications
Bar membership in good standing in New Jersey.
