The Senior Billing Analyst will be responsible for managing all processes related to customer set up on fuel contracts, projects, stations, and fleet card accounts. Support the close process by preparing journal entries for revenue, rebates, R&M volume and fuel incentives. Responsible for revenue/volume reconciliations and support manager with site review financial reporting.

Salary range: $58,924.50 - $83,566 Depends on experience
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupports the close process by preparing journal entries for revenue, rebate/rent accruals, R&M volumes and fuel incentives.Prepare and submit all pricing updates to the processing fleet card company i.e. Comdata, WEX, T-Check.All processes related to customer set up on fuel, projects, stations, and fleet cards.Support Manager with internal and external audits, which includes all required reporting.Responsible for reviewing and updating SOX documentation for billing related processes.Support Manager with billing analysis, volume, and revenue reconciliations during close process.Provide on the job coaching and/or guidance to junior team members, Billing Specialists and Billing Analyst, on an as needed basis.Responsible for testing and finalizing all new D365 or 3rd party system tools utilized by the team as it relates to billing and reporting.Review and approve CPI calculations, Fuel Indices, and Gas cost provided by the Billing Analyst.Liaison between Clean Energy and Pilot Operations team for local facility issues.Primary contact to support the sales and marketing team for customer account management for rebates.Generate the Daily volume report.Supports the Billing Analyst as backup for CPI/PPI indices calculations and Daily Log review.Develops and implements record keeping systems, forms, policies, and procedures.Identifies and resolves problems and inconsistencies and suggests appropriate corrective procedures.Complete projects as directed by Management.Other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university, plus a minimum of five (5) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
