Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Ensure the high availability, performance, and reliability of Postman's cloud services.Utilize Kubernetes to orchestrate and automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.Collaborate with development teams to optimize Kubernetes configurations for diverse workloads.ArgoCD and Helm Expertise: Leverage ArgoCD for GitOps-based continuous delivery of applications.Utilize Helm for packaging, versioning, and deploying applications.Implement and extend Crossplane for managing cloud infrastructure resources in a multi-cloud environment.Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration with Postman's architecture.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Helm charts.Maintain version-controlled infrastructure code for repeatability and scalability.Monitoring and Logging: Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions for cloud-based applications.Work closely with the DevOps team to enhance observability and troubleshoot issues effectively.Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud infrastructure.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.Qualifications: Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Expertise in Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, and Crossplane.Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).Familiarity with containerization and microservices architecture.Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana Stack).Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Our ValuesAt Postman, we create with the same curiosity that we see in our users. What Else?If the role is based in the greater San Francisco area, the reasonably estimated salary for this role ranges from $205,000 to $255,000 plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to our pay-on-performance philosophy, we offer a comprehensive set of benefits, including full medical coverage, flexible PTO, wellness reimbursement, and a monthly lunch stipend. Salaries will vary outside of the listed metropolitan areas & the U.S.
