Senior Cloud Security Engineer

I am working with a global network/telecommunications company, looking to expand their US operations with the growth of their IT function. This will include the introduction of a Cloud Security Engineer, based in Atlanta.

In this position, you will take ownership of cloud environments to maintain great service through a transition period and beyond by embedding process and efficient onboarding and lead, design, deploy, and maintain the implementation of Cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure, M365 and underlying technologies.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with architects across the group to ensure conformity to to established principles and standards
Azure Security tooling
Provide technical expertise and challenge technical thinking for Cloud
and Workplace platforms in response to incidents, problems, changes, and project work
Be the "go to" person and escalation point to solve more complex problems, incidents and requests
Accountable for the technical delivery of services owned by the Workplace Technology team
Optimize the reliability, efficiency and value provided by cloud services (e.g., opportunities for automation)
Ensure adherence to incident, request, problem and change management processes to agreed SLAs
Own and manage the Azure and M365 tenancy and other cloud service including licensing

Experience required:
Support, development, implementation and management experience of licensing in Azure
Azure Admin and Security skills
Deep experience in cloud engineering and IAM (SSO, IdentityNow etc.)
Experienced in Azure compute, networking, storage, and security, including Azure Firewall and NSG
