If you are technically proficient in the Commercial Construction and Builder's Risk Insurance vertical, love being the "agency team quarterback", and excel at being the Producer's right hand, this new Senior Account Executive role could be your next career move.
My client is a National Insurance Brokerage. This is a hybrid role based out of Bothell, WA. You will be the Team Lead Account Executive supporting one Producer with responsibility for some of the brokerage's largest Puget Sound construction and builder's risk accounts. This is an add to staff role due to growth. EPIC is used. This is a client facing role which will require periodic WA state travel with the Producer for key renewal meetings and other deliverables.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary relationship manager, and consultant for clients and their insurance needs
Respond to daily client requests and ensure all their insurance service needs are handled in an accurate and timely manner, including obtaining appropriate documents to change or add coverage during the policy period
Provide Bid and Contract review
Be a technical resource to clients and team members
Effectively manage the renewal process including capturing pre-renewal information and putting together complete renewal submissions for selected markets
Negotiate Terms and Conditions for renewals with underwriters
Counsel clients on coverage issues, and research coverage as needed.
Maintain effective relationships with carrier markets
Coordinate the production and delivery of new business and renewal proposals and insurance summaries
Effectively manage, develop, and delegate work to team members, this may include Associate Account Managers I and II, and Account Managers I and II
Ensure broker standards and best practices are being executed by the team

This role is ideal for a Senior Construction Risk Account Manager with strong team leadership skills who is ready to move into a senior AE role. Must have strong technical Construction and Builders risk insurance knowledge in an agency setting. Need to have account manager experience with insurance construction accounts with premiums of $500,000 or more.
