About the Role:
The Senior Analyst, reporting to the VP of Global Compensation and Canada Total Rewards, analyzes requests and offers recommendations to business leaders and HR regarding compensation for retail and non-retail associates.
This role involves building positive relationships with HR and Business leaders.
The Senior Analyst regularly analyzes the market and offers insights on hiring wages, salary ranges, and job levels.
What You'll Do: Collaborate with HR and Leaders to suggest compensation changes, discuss org structure and talent planning, evaluate job descriptions, and adjust salary ranges.
Support the attraction and retention of talent through market data review and proactively provide recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Provide salary increase recommendations to HR and managers during salary planning for retail and non-retail population.
Evaluates job descriptions and assigns grading and appropriate salary ranges.
Model costing for retail merit increases and retail bonuses, and connect with Store Operations on implementation, as required.
Maintain and modify the retail salary ranges annually and with minimum wage increases.
Point of contact for Brazil legislative increases and salary recommendations.
Monitor legislative changes and propose changes to salary ranges, or base wages for Canada, US, Brazil.
Actively participates in compensation program development activities, such as year-end salary planning, job architecture discussions, etc.
Select appropriate survey sources for data reliability, relevance and reputation and participate in the salary survey data gathering and review process.
Analyzes results of surveys and review internal data against the market and make recommendations as necessary.
Participate in the salary structure and range review process and update the movement of the structure.
Coordinates the compensation information system and prioritizes data for the generation of compensation reports.
Build a network of Retailers for business needs (i.e., questions on positions, salaries, RSUs, etc.)
What You'll Bring:
Experience: 3 to 5 years Compensation experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, HR or a related major, or equivalent experience.
Skills: Excellent Excel skills Strong analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Outstanding interpersonal skills is a must Ability to prioritize tasks and recognize when a blocking issue needs attention.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
Self-starter.
Knowledge of Workday HRIS
