The Role Our Retail, Consumer Goods Consulting Practice is looking for Consulting Managers who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. At the Senior Manager Level, this means overseeing advisory consulting engagements, being a trusted advisor to clients, establishing oneself as a thought leader in your field, solving complex problems, consultatively working with a client to achieve business goals, driving contributions to offerings and innovations, and serving as a people leader, guiding multiple teams as they work to transform a client and the world.
Responsibilities Exercise responsibility for one or more components of a consulting engagement.Support or drive data-driven identification and analysis of solution requirements.Conduct workshops with clients to elicit requirements as the basis for creating business requirements documents and user stories.Monitor solution quality compliance to standards and conduct or facilitate structured solution walkthroughs.Conduct user acceptance testing and issue tracking/resolution.Support solution change or enhancement requests.Prepare and deliver solution training workshops and collateral for clients.Perform other project tasks as needed, such as competitive research, storyline development, and report preparation (e.g., acceptance, QA).Qualifications Seasoned consultant with 5 years of experience in Retail, Travel and Consumer Goods consulting industry.Extensive hands-on experience in leading large scale Warehouse Management Systems implementations.At least 1 end-to-end implementation experience in Manhattan Active WM deployments.Hands-on Manhattan Active WMS design and configuration experience.Experience in defining and designing WMS processes.Understanding of WMS software packages like Manhattan, JDA, SAP etc.Experience in online Retail processes such as online customer experience, inventory management, order processing, supply chain etc. is preferred.Experience in leading strategy discussions, helping clients with their WMS strategy.Experience in Agile execution and methodologies.Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate to executive level stakeholders.Ownership for key projects' timelines, deliverables, budget and metrics.Cognizant is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $100,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
