About the Job:
Contribute to planning and development of US reg projects (US Treasury Clearing, SEC 10C-1, Best Execution and SEC 192 Conflict of Interest), work with program sponsors to set the goals of the initiatives, and develop & execute regular status reporting.
What You'll Get to Do:
Contribute to the planning and development of US regulatory projects; collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure successful completion within deadlines
Work directly with Program Sponsors to set the goals of the initiative as well as plans to ensure the program is successful
Identify risks, assumptions, dependencies and issues across multiple programs and coordinate mitigation actions. Present findings and recommendations to Program Sponsor and associated Steering Committees.
Develop and execute regular status reporting and adhoc senior management presentations (when needed) for Program Sponsors, Steering Committees and Working Groups
Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution
Performing administrative tasks such as preparing presentations, spreadsheets, scheduling meetings creating action items for follow-up and the ability to drive the action items to closure
Provide analysis, recommendations, and strategic insight on a variety of issues as a key advisor
Oversee the flow of information to ensure it is sequenced and relevant, while tracking and escalating priority issues when needed
Compose internal and external communications, encompassing messages, reports, presentations Excel sheets, and assorted materials, with a focus on meticulousness, data-driven insights, and impeccable design for optimal output
Prioritize conflicting needs and manage multiple tasks with a proactive and outcome-focused approach
Perform administrative tasks such as preparing presentation, spreadsheets, scheduling meetings
What you'll bring with You:
Essential to have experience working on multiple and complex projects across various functions, either at an Investment Bank or through a consulting assignment, with a solid understanding of standard processes and flows and a good understanding of investment banking products
Experience working with securitized products, loans, and US Treasury
Project management methodologies
Excellent communicator and influencer, ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels from a range of departments, business areas and cultures in order to build consensus
Confident self-stater who can work under pressure, using their own initiative and with the drive to work to aggressive deadlines and to see tasks though to completion
Strong analytical skill set with ability to assimilate, translate and communicate business concepts and requirements
Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks effectively
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills and drive project forward and ensure milestones are met
Desire to challenge existing processes and drive forward change
Attention to detail and high quality standards relating to documentation, processes and the control environment
A sound understanding of the project life cycle and different project management methodologies
Understanding, but not expertise, in the role of Credit Risk, Client On Boarding, Legal Documentation, and Collateral Management
Ability to tie various status updates together to help uncover blockers and drive the project home
