Verus is in search of a Senior Consulting Associate to join our office in Seattle (preferred), Los Angeles, or San Francisco. Candidates should have an understanding of pensions, defined contribution plans and non-profits.
The Senior Consulting Associate's primary responsibility is to support a senior consultant with client deliverables and have a strong working knowledge of the consultant's clients. They are responsible for all tasks directed by the senior consultant. They are responsible for designing and building client projects with minimal involvement from a senior consultant. They may also have responsibility supporting the consultant with profitable growth and contributing to Verus thought leadership.
Prerequisites: Bachelor's Degree in Business required; preferably Finance;MBA, Masters of Finance, or CFA Level II candidacy preferred;Four or more years of analytical and research experience in a related field;Solid knowledge of financial and equity investing techniques; knowledge and familiarity with equity markets, the pension fund industry, defined contribution plans and non-profits.Our office culture is one that values in-person collaboration and interaction. Salary range: $100,000 – $130,000 annually.
Salary offered to candidates is determined by factoring in market pay, internal peer equity, education, credentials, relevant skills and expertise, past employment experience, and geographic pay differentials.
