The successful candidate will be a key business-oriented legal advisor, particularly in the areas of securities regulation, corporate governance, and global M&A.
This role involves serving as the lead legal advisor to the corporate Finance, Treasury, and Tax functions, managing capital markets transactions, and ensuring compliance with applicable securities regulations.
The Senior Corporate Counsel will also be responsible for supervising corporate board functions, supporting key business transactions, and leading the legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic deals.
Applicants for this role should have a minimum of 10 years' legal experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in industrial, manufacturing, specialty chemical, or related industries.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securities matters, corporate governance, and a deep experience in leading and negotiating complex transactions.
Global experience and a JD or equivalent Law Degree are required.
The role demands a leader with excellent legal skills, unquestioned integrity, and the ability to inspire trust and confidence.
The Senior Corporate Counsel will also be expected to manage and develop a team of legal professionals and build strategic partnerships with outside counsel.
