SGI Global is seeking a Senior Corporate Financial Analyst.
The Senior Corporate Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the financial health and strategic direction of the organization.
This position requires a strong combination of financial acumen, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of business operations.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities Business License Management: Oversee the renewal and maintenance of all necessary business licenses and permits, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Indirect Rates: Calculate and manage indirect rates for various departments and projects, ensuring accurate allocation of overhead costs.
Indirect Expense Management: Analyze and control indirect expenses to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
Month End Accounting: Coordinate and assist with the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Data Analytics: Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze financial performance, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
Ad Hoc Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analyses as needed to address specific business questions or concerns.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and management of annual budgets, including forecasting revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
Cost Analysis: Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency improvements.
Financial Modeling: Create and maintain financial models to assess the financial implications of various business scenarios.
Project Financial Analysis: Evaluate the financial feasibility of new projects or initiatives.
Financial Due Diligence: Conduct financial due diligence on potential acquisitions or investments.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 10+ years of experience in corporate finance or accounting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills CPA or MBA preferred Additional Skills Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Unanet, Costpoint) Knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) Experience in Government Contracting
