The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic legal guidance and support to business partners across the company's various lifestyle brands.
This role involves proactively engaging in marketing initiatives, creative services, and talent engagements, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
The Senior Counsel will also be involved in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements, including those related to marketing, advertising, influencer and talent services, and design collaborations.
Experience in digital media and a background in retail, commercial, or consumer products is a plus.
Applicants must have a JD and be licensed to practice law in the US, with a minimum of 7 years' experience, preferably with in-house experience.
The role requires a practical mindset, excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex matters under pressure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial transactions, particularly in the areas of marketing and advertising, and a proven track record of providing strategic counseling that balances legal and business objectives.
Emotional intelligence, the ability to work cross-functionally, and a commitment to inclusion, diversity, and community involvement are also essential.
