Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of Rivian's litigation matters, including fact investigation, case analysis, fact and expert discovery, motion practice, mediation and potential settlement, trial/arbitration and appeal. Conduct legal research on procedural and substantive topics. Assist with subpoena responses and other third-party requests for information. Assist with periodic financial, executive, Board and Legal team reporting on litigation matters. Develop and present training sessions to internal clients. Manage special projects, as assigned. Qualifications J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school. An active membership in good standing in the State Bar of California or Michigan (or eligible to practice as Registered In House Counsel) 6+ years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for both law firm and in-house experience and experience working on a variety of commercial litigation matters. 3+ years experience working on IP litigation matters, including substantial patent litigation experience.
