Learn more at happymoney.com. ABOUT THE ROLE Happy Money is looking for a talented Senior Credit Risk and Policy Analyst to join the Risk & Analytics team! As part of the broader Risk, Science, and Analytics org, you will partner with Data Science to monitor, revise, and execute strategic directives to optimize our lending practices and lending policies. We are a tight-knit team that values progress over perfection, systems over goals, simplicity over complexity, and curiosity over complacency.  This role will be responsible for utilizing credit bureau data, business analytics, and loan performance to draw strategic insights using data and analysis to inform decisions and support the company's overarching strategic goals relative to loss prevention and profit optimization.
\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIESIdentify and define key business metrics (i.e. eligible demand, conversion rates, loss actuals v. forecasts) that keep the company moving forward with confidence. Own credit policies throughout the lending process including frontline decisioning, pricing, fraud, verifications, and servicing.Manage portfolio health and loan performance and working cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Operations and Financial Partner teamsUnderstand credit risk, monitor performance of strategies and portfolio while documenting and communicating results, escalating issues as they ariseUncover opportunities to grow the business in a sustainable and responsible manner by mitigating risk, protecting partner returns, and putting members in the best position to succeed financially.
