Balancing stakeholder needs and keeping them informed.Emphasising the experience vision and sprint goal (why we are doing what we are doing) to the team so that they can connect to customer problems and pain points.Prioritising the backlog among competing opportunities balancing customer needs with business priorities and articulating the rationale behind decisions.Evaluating opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders, making use of discovery techniques to reduce uncertainty and ensure only the most promising opportunities are fully built.Collaborating across the organisation, critically assessing requests, fully understanding opportunities and constraints and sharing key information.Attending and contributing to daily stand-ups and retrospectives. Facilitating and running backlog refinement, demos, and planning activities.Ensuring acceptance criteria are met prior to demos, and that work meets compliance obligations and definition is done.Desired Skills and ExperienceA little bit about you… The skills you've picked up along the way: Understanding how to create value from dataStrong verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas and concepts.Ability to express proposals in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.Proven ability to engage with data teams, data engineers and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.Competent working in an omni channel environment where in-person, physical and digital experiences need to blend in a meaningful way.Working with the team to define user stories, their acceptance criteria and elaborating on constraints for the rest of the team. Clearly articulating the 'why' so that trade-offs are well understood.Managing the team backlog, adding, removing and adapting items to ensure the highest priority items are next in line for build and delivery.Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.You have worked in and around data and leveraged data to create great customer and business outcomes.You have a demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.10+ years' overall experience with at least 2 years working on data-powered products as a product owner.You have a demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks.Prior experience working in agile environments within multidisciplinary teams, and a solid understanding of agile processes/practices.B2B, Banking, Consulting experience is well regarded.Snowflake, Databricks, AI product knowledge is desirable.You'll need Australian working rights.Our Values Accountability – make the decision and own it.
