Amida is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our team. This role requires expertise in advanced data analysis, machine learning, optimization techniques, and the application of deep neural networks to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in supervised and unsupervised learning methods, coupled with extensive experience in structured and unstructured data manipulation and pipeline.
What will you do: Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models to address business challengesWork with data analysts to document and use cases to designMap and organize data science methods best suited for use case into five categories: Descriptive (classification, interpretation of historical data), Introspective (root cause analysis (RCA), anomaly), Predictive (forecasting), Prescriptive (recommendation, optimization), and Cognitive (NLP, Generative AI)Develop end-to-end machine learning pipelines, from feature engineering to deploymentStay updated with the latest developments in deep learning architecture and techniquesLeverage LLMs for generating insights, automating tasks, and enhancing decision-making processesAnalyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights and trendsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data findings into strategic recommendationsApply optimization techniques to enhance model performance and solve operational challengesDevelop and implement algorithms for resource allocation, process improvement, and efficiency gainsWork closely with data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of data initiatives with business objectivesMentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on best practicesWrite clean, efficient, and scalable Python code for data processing, model development, and automationLeverage Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and othersRequired Skills: Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data ScienceMinimum 5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related roleProven track record of implementing supervised and unsupervised learning models in real-world applicationsProficiency in Python and its ecosystemKnowledge of database technologiesStrong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning techniquesHands-on experience with deep neural networks and modern architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, transformers)Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilitiesStrong communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with agile processPreferred Skills: Expertise in auto-ML methodsFamiliarity with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j).Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance Communication is the key to success at Amida.
