We're looking for a seasoned Senior Database Engineer to join our team, playing a pivotal role in scaling our database systems for global expansion.
In this role, you'll ensure our databases are robust, efficient, and scalable, supporting many concurrent users.
You'll leverage your expertise in database management, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead projects to enhance our database infrastructure.
Your work will directly contribute to our mission of providing exceptional software, ensuring high availability and performance of our systems.

Responsibilities: Ensure the availability, scalability, and performance of the company's database systemsAnalyze solutions and implement best practices for database managementDesign, build, and maintain core database infrastructurePlan and manage the capacity of database infrastructureDevelop tools and automation to simplify database operationsCollaborate on production changes and incident mitigationProvide database expertise to engineering teamsLead database-related projects, ensuring timely deliveryRequirements and skills: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAnalytical skills with experience in troubleshooting large-scale distributed systemsIndependent project delivery and passion for cloud technologies and automation5+ years of experience with relational databases in production environmentsData modeling and structure design expertiseExperience with major cloud providers (GCP, AWS preferred)Proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL internals, and Linux systemsFamiliarity with programming languages (Python, Go, Java, C++)Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform)Experience in Data MigrationCertification: SEC +
