Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior General Liability Defense Attorney to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, personal injury, and general liability defense.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in court proceedings and depositionsConduct legal research and prepare legal documentsDevelop and maintain strong client relationshipsManage and mentor junior attorneys and paralegalsNegotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolutionStay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to general liability defense
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in the state of TexasAt least 7 years of experience in general litigation and insurance defenseStrong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to manage and mentor a team of attorneys and paralegalsAbility to work independently and handle a high volume of casesExperience with general liability defense, personal injury, and insurance defense
