As a Senior Demand Planner, you will be responsible for forecasting and planning product demand, coordinating with cross-functional teams and production team in Asia, analyzing data trends and inventory level to meet sales and business objectives. Ensure sales, production and inventory plans are aligned. Maximize product availability while minimizing out-of-stock/overstock to meet financial goals and KPI while leading continuous improvement initiatives. To be successful, you will need to have a strong understanding of the small Home/Kitchen appliance market in both the Retail & online channel. Possess excellent communication skills, advanced demand planning methodologies, and comfortable presenting to all levels of business management with sales team, supply chain, and operation team. What you will do at VeSync: Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to achieve business goals and objectives. Be a key partner in inventory level management for each specific sales channel, with analysis and planning strategies. Develop and implement effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns. Manage the demand planning team collaboratively and work with logistics, operations, supply chain, and other cross-function departments. Communicate, plan, schedule, and coordinate with team in Asia towards production planning department based on lead times, capacity, and customer priorities and monitor delivery. Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy. Monitor inventory levels and initiate corrective action as needed. Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies. Communicate forecast variances and provide recommendations for improvement to management and key stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement of demand planning processes and systems.
