Reviews and evaluates requests for estimates and project quotes, as neededPrepares and reviews estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy.Creates job foldersInputs take-offs of construction documentsReviews construction documents and understands scope of work to bidObtains pricing for materialsObtains bids from subcontractorsLead the preparation of estimates and project quotes for certain assigned marketsEstablish contact with key Mechanical accounts for quoting bids and potential orders on mechanical piping systemsDesign structural/mechanical piping systems and subsequent details for pipe and duct supports for projects such as WWTP, WTF, power generation and/or process utility type facilitiesPreparation of submittal packagesAssist in securing Contract Awards or Purchase OrdersPost contract award requirements include project sales order preparation, coordinate product requirements with purchasing, ongoing project management through completion, field visits, as requestedProficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software and any other software required (TBD)Home office/Jobsite sales calls with NEFCO sales representatives to promote engineering services and pipe hanger and strut support salesPrepares cost analysis in NEFCO Enterprise Resource Planning, Eclipse, by recapitulating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor and overhead cost incurred in the installation of strut grid projectsMakes an estimate where predetermined standards are not availableInforms immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or computer databaseDevelops and maintains cost data, including labor and equipment rates, and production ratesMaintains estimating procedures and guidelinesDevelops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractorsAttends branch meetings Requirements Demonstrate strong ability to work in fast pace, high pressure environmentExcellent computer skills and capability to adeptly operate Eclipse, Microsoft Office Suite and any other software requiredStrong customer service skillsMaintains excellent regular attendance, punctuality at work to ensure a high-quality and timely response for customersMust perform work accurately and with a sense of urgency and integrity while paying strict attention to detailCollege degree preferred3-5 years of work experienceEssential ** *
