The NYC Department of Design & Construction, Public Buildings Division seeks a Sr. Design Reviewer to join the Sustainability Unit.
The selected candidate will serve as one of the units representatives for capital projects.
Responsibilities include: project scope development; design, construction, and post-construction technical review for both sustainability and resiliency; LEED compliance strategies; and certification documentation.
The Sr. Design Reviewer will also be responsible for energy master planning and building performance evaluation.
The selected candidate will attend project and site meetings; liaise with DDC Program Unit staff, design consultants, commissioning agents, and contractors; and participate in the units research and development program, which often results in codified policy change.
Authorization to work in the United States is required for this position.

Qualifications
A valid New York State Registration as an Architect is required.
In addition, candidates must have six ( 6 ) years of full-time paid experience in architectural work, at least two (2) years of which shall have been as an administrative architect.
