Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Designer with 20 years of professional experience to be part of our Transportation team in the Tampa, FL office.
In this position, you will assist in the design and preparation of roadway projects for state departments of transportation.
Over the last two decades, WGI has been involved in some of Floridas largest and most complex projects.

Responsibilities:
Develop designs in accordance with client standards.Generate engineering plans using Bentley OpenRoads and Civil 3D Designer required.Perform construction quantity estimates;Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications amongst engineering teams.Ensure designs, plans, and calculations are complete and accurate.Perform drainage caluculations.
Assist in preparing scopes of services.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads Designer and Civil 3D required.Experience with basic office software tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong work ethic;Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a project team;Good verbal communication and technical writing skills.Physical Demands The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Work is performed in an office setting.
Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate a computer, keyboard and mouse.
