\n WHAT WE SEEK We are seeking a Senior Director of Data Science and Measurement to lead a team of scientists and engineers and drive innovation in the development and application of advanced measurement and data science techniques. The candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in measurement and ad tech and has a deep understanding of machine learning, statistics, and data analysis. They will be responsible for leading the development of new data-driven measurement products and insights, managing a team of data scientists and engineers, and working closely with other teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. WHAT YOU'LL DO Drive the vision, strategy, and development of innovative measurement products and solutions that provide value for our customers.Manage and mentor a team of data scientists and engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and successful project delivery.Collaborate with other teams, including product, engineering, and business development, to define and execute on data-driven projects.Build a Data Quality framework to ensure the robustness and consistency of our data productsCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams to advance our TV measurement and methodologyDevelop and implement best practices and processes for data science projects, including data management, modeling, and analysis.Stay up-to-date with the latest data science techniques and technologies, and identify opportunities to apply them to our business.Communicate insights and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, and provide thought leadership on the future of measurement, ad tech, and their applications.Manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality workIdentify and develop top talent and support an inclusive, high performing team culture. WHO YOU AREAdvanced degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field8+ years of experience in data science, with a track record of developing and implementing data-driven solutions in a complex, fast-paced environmentDemonstrated experience leading and managing teams of data scientists and delivering complex data projects on time and on budgetStrong knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniquesExperience with big data technologies such as Spark, Big Query, and SnowflakeExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data science concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience working in the advertising industry, preferably in the TV space, is a plus
\n$250,000 - $300,000 a year
Samba TV expects to offer a base salary between $250,000 - $3000,000 USD per year for roles to be performed in New York or California; actual base salary offered will depend on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Base salary is just one component of Samba TV's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, short-term incentives and long-term incentives. In addition, Samba provides health insurance, wellness offerings, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO), and other employee benefits.
