The Crown Is YoursAs a Senior Director of Federal Government Affairs, you will lead our federal strategy, fostering relationships with Congressional offices and key stakeholders to influence the future of sports betting, iGaming, and fantasy sports. What you'll do as a Senior Director of Federal Government AffairsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with Congressional offices, executive branch agencies, and other influential stakeholders.Lead our federal government affairs strategy with a deep understanding of the U.S. legislative and regulatory process, including the dynamics of Executive Agencies, the U.S. Senate, and the House of Representatives.Analyze proposed legislation and regulatory developments, providing insights to help the business anticipate and navigate potential impacts.Track critical industry trends and emerging issues, offering timely guidance on matters that could shape current and future business opportunities.Advocate for DraftKings' positions on public policy and legislative matters.Represent DraftKings in policy forums, conferences, and political events, serving as a key advocate and spokesperson.What you'll bringAt least 10 years of experience in federal public policy, gained in a Congressional office or a comparable private-sector federal government affairs role.Established, substantial relationships within Congress are required.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at simplifying complex policies into clear, actionable insights.Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively, strategically aligning business goals with legislative priorities and proposing innovative solutions to evolving challenges.Join Our TeamWe're a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston.
