Summary:
The Senior Director, Global Pricing and Economics leads a Pricing & Economics team supporting the U.S. Oncology & Hematology portfolio and drives the integration of market intelligence, competitor pricing trends, and health economic data to inform the development and optimization of pricing and contracting strategies that supports commercial, market access, and organizational objectives, maximizing revenue and market share across product life cycle, including pipeline/early assets, launch, Inline and Mature brands.

Responsibilities:

Pricing & Contracting Insights & Strategy Development
Collaborates with Global Pricing and Access Strategy leads, Brand, Finance, HEOR, and Global teams to ensure pricing decisions are well-informed and data driven.

Leads complex analysis to understand price elasticity, payer willingness to pay, and set price points for new and existing products and/or new indications.

Establish pricing methodologies, KPIs, and best practices, to support brand performance monitory and drive performance.

Support the development of forecasting for early assets and inform pipeline prioritization.

Drive execution of brand access & contracting strategy by engaging and partnering with Global Max functional teams including Contract Management & Operations, Government Pricing, Legal Trade and Patient Support.

Partners closely with Contract Strategy and Analytics and assists driving through the Negotiating Team/approval process.

Studies and develops familiarity with pharmaceutical economics and regulations which currently affect pricing in all U.S. Channels and/or represent a future risk.

Monitors developments, and trends in the marketplace that could positively or negatively affect brand access and performance.

Partner closely with Market Access, Finance, Commercial Operations, and Legal to ensure alignment and compliance with pricing strategies and operational processes.

Provide pricing related input and feedback as needed to corporate strategy and valuation, commercial operations, business analytics, finance and forecasting.

Support early asset pricing and access (i.e., DEX) evaluations as necessary and ensuring the key pricing input and insights are incorporated in the clinical study design process for optimized access & pricing conditions at launch.

Engage with external stakeholders, including payers, healthcare providers, and regulatory bodies, to support value-based pricing and reimbursement approaches.

Governance & Financial Planning
Develop and Maintain SOPs and governance frameworks (i.e., Grants of Authority) to manage pricing and contracting decisions. Ensure they are adhered to and kept up to date with prevailing market conditions and competitive landscape.

Lead U.S Pricing Committee Discussions requiring senior leadership approval and/or to inform and support transparent communication with senior leadership.

Monitor compliance with internal controls, global pricing policies, and external regulatory requirements (e.g., State Price Transparency)

Actively takes part in brand financial planning exercise including Budget, P1, P2, P3 and LTFP advising on rate & mix assumptions across channels and customers. Present Max gross to net assumptions in budget meetings.

Qualifications
BS/BA in an analytic field (e.g., Finance, Engineering, Economics, Science) MS/MA or MBA preferred or other relevant experience.

Extensive pharmaceutical industry experience; at least 10 years in areas related to pricing, reimbursement, and market access for US and/or WW.

Prior experience managing an analytics or pricing team preferred.

Deep Knowledge of US healthcare system and reimbursement environment, including market access customers and channels and their respective funding models.

Strong strategic thinking and analytical ability with experience using analytical and conceptual tools, and market research techniques relevant to pricing and contracting as it applies to variety of complex business situations.

Excellent communication skills and executive presence, ability to communicate complex pricing and policy dynamics to a broad range of stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain a high-performing pricing team, fostering a collaborative transparent and inclusive culture and support professional growth.

Ability to travel up to 25% for key industry/customer conferences, commercial/market access meetings and customer meetings if needed.
