As the Senior Director, Global Product Management - Decision Platforms, you will own and lead the product vision, strategy, roadmaps and execution of the priorities for the InterConnect and Global Batch Platforms, which make up the decisioning platforms at Equifax. InterConnect is Equifax's flagship online decision platform that automates the orchestration of data, analytical models and decision policies for lending institutions across their originations lifecycle. The Global Batch Platform is an offline decision system that enables use cases across marketing, pre-screen and customer management lifecycles.
What you'll do Product Strategy: Own overall market understanding for InterConnect and Global Batch platforms, working closely with internal stakeholders and external customers.
Perform market sizing and segmentation to drive strategic feature development.
Demonstrate deep understanding of customer needs through market research and analysis.
Use strong knowledge of competitive landscape to anticipate, articulate and drive high-potential opportunities that demonstrate competitive advantage.
Lead market validation through review and testing of concepts with existing and prospective customers (voice of customer, customer advisory boards, etc.).
Articulate the vision and ensure its alignment with strategy and goals.
Create the annual business case for your platforms and drive annual budget planning activities.
Collaborate with business unit product leaders to tie product deliverables to GTM efforts.
Product Roadmaps and Requirements: Drive prioritization of strategic platform initiatives.
Lead requirements definition for product development, understanding product trade-offs and driving alignment.
Manage market feedback efforts to drive product direction.
Assess and plan the product's future lifecycle, to include enhancement and sunsetting.
Collaborate with product owners to break down strategic initiatives into epics and features for the platform.
Facilitate ideation and brainstorming sessions/workshops with stakeholders and your team to solve problems.
Execution: Foster innovation by bringing up new problems and encouraging new ways to solve existing problems.
Define and establish objectives and track and manage multiple products through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Lead efforts to prepare for and support product releases, including capability presentations and documentation.
Drive product engagement and satisfaction and manage the product's performance including attainment of revenue and margin objectives.
Assess monitored product adoption and usage and engage in the collection of customer feedback.
Leadership: Lead a team of product managers and provide direction and guidance on managing different components of the platforms and drive different product activities through the team.
Grow talent within the team and build their skill sets in the product discipline around requirements gathering, product demos, and user journeys.
Drive influence in the organization around adoption of your platforms across various business units.
What experience you need Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science (or a related field).
7+ years of experience managing B2B products/platforms that drive revenue for organizations.
5+ years of experience managing and coaching product managers in driving a strong product management discipline.
Proven track record of driving product strategy and execution of deliverables tied to top line growth.
Ability to create and deliver effective presentations to senior leadership, including C-suite, and present product overviews (including demos when necessary) to internal and external customers.
Strong technical skills to be able to break down complex business processes and data flow challenges to technology teams (knowledge of APIs, batch processing, microservices or other similar technologies).
Comfortable working with spreadsheets to analyze product operating costs and track product investments to budget and business cases.
Experience working on Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies and launching products in markets.
What could set you apart MBA or Masters Degree.
Experience managing decisioning platforms.
Experience in credit risk and/or working with large financial institutions or credit unions.
Experience managing products hosted on the cloud.
Experience managing products across multiple geographies.
