This is a remote position.
Job Purpose Lead the development, execution, and management of our client's international outreach and
partnerships strategy. This role will grow this organization's impact globally. This includes designing, developing, and implementing sustainable engagement opportunities across the region and developing a channel of in-country regional partners to support our client's mission and the long-term growth of international outreach efforts.
This role will require strong collaboration with other team leads and staff to meet partnership deliverables. This role will balance international strategy oversight, prioritize oversight of the international strategy, and prioritize direct engagement in Latin America, Canada, and the Caribbean. Other target markets will be supported by staff and consultants.
Essential Functions · Lead and build strategic relationships, collaborative partnerships, and sustainable initiatives with the public and private sectors, including ministries of education, NGOs, and foundations in Latin America and Canada. · Manage consultants and staff in other target regions, including Asia and Europe. · Develop long-term partnerships with organizations in the target countries/regions that can license, sell, and/or deliver our client's products. · Leverage past experiences, relationships, and new approaches in the global education and technology market to advance organizational objectives and properly position this organization for continued growth in the Americas. · Lead internal and external stakeholders to develop, plan, execute, and evaluate our client's global strategy. · Serve as the staff lead for the organization's international advisory committee. · Manage project key initiatives. · Develop and maintain a prioritized revenue pipeline of prospects and report quarterly to the Managing Director and leadership team on progress.
. Explore new ways to grow and increase revenue streams by leveraging our client's products
and services and customizing as required to meet regional requirements. . Prioritize focus on our client's core competencies and products, such as events, standards,
certifications, online courses, and books, and only pursue the development of new products/services after consultation and approval of the leadership team. . Develop a three-year budget with assumptions that lead to a profit margin sufficient to
sustain the work. . Create project-specific budgets; track and report on revenues and expenditures; and
recommend budget adjustments. . Monitor and administer the budget with the Managing Director's team to ensure
compliance with approved budgets and fiscal policies. . Develop a targeted plan with measurable objectives for representing our client at global,
regional, and country-based conferences and meetings. . Model using CRM (Salesforce) and related project management tools (Asana) to
manage and communicate progress.

Requirements Minimum Qualification Guidelines . Bachelor's degree in business, international affairs, or education-related field.
. At least 5 years of experience leading and directing initiatives with multicultural
audiences.
. Fluent Cross-Cultural Leadership. You have experience winning customers, signing
partners, and managing projects in Latin American and Caribbean countries and
cultures.
· Seasoned business development leader with tremendous drive and a demonstrable
record of building strategic relationships, collaborative partnerships, and sustainable
initiatives in Latin America and globally.
. Customer Relations. Develop and execute account strategies and promote our client's value
proposition for clients/customers within the LATAM region
· Senior experience in strategic program and business model development.
. Highly motivated to hold a critical role in shaping the future of our client's global strategies
and opportunities.
. Highly developed knowledge and expertise in education technology standards globally
and their application, including the Company Standards.
· Experience pursuing government, private sector, and foundations funding opportunities
and experience managing private or publicly funded projects with deliverables to donors.
. The development team will support this role for grant and proposal writing and reporting.
. A deep understanding of, and a passion for, the value of technology in education.
. Passionate about transforming teaching and learning globally.
. Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (speaking and writing) is preferred.
(Bonus if bilingual or conversational proficiency in Portuguese and/or French).
. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be acceptable.
Skill Requirements . Business development experience in educational technology and professional
development services.
. Experience in international business and business-related experience in a cross-cultural
environment.
. Effective collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, both internally and
externally.
· Experience in crafting complex business partnerships, including distributorships and joint
ventures, and demonstrated leadership in driving these business partnerships to
signature.
. Ability to influence decision-makers and close using a proactive consultative approach.
· Exceptional communication skills (presentation, oral, written), proven executive
presence, and cultural competency.
. The ability to independently prioritize work to meet demanding deadlines while managing
multiple projects and activities across business areas, functions, and geographies.
. Proven ability to develop a prospect pipeline and manage opportunities from
identification to close and ultimately repeat work.
. Work collaboratively and openly with others on the CEO, international teams, and across
divisions.
