ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Hiring Range: $175-195k base salary The Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture and System Integration is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and integration of the organization's enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with business goals.
This role manages the enterprise architecture framework, while overseeing the Product and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.
The Senior Director plays a pivotal role in integrating custom-developed applications with off-the-shelf solutions, enabling seamless operations across all business units.
Key Responsibilities to include: Enterprise Architecture Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise architecture strategy that supports business objectives and long-term growth.
Lead the creation and enforcement of architecture governance, ensuring technology solutions adhere to company standards, scalability, and security protocols.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute strategic roadmaps for enterprise architecture and system integration.
Product & QA Oversight: Provide leadership to the Product and QA teams, ensuring alignment between product development, quality assurance, and enterprise architecture strategies.
Work closely with the Product team to develop and refine product roadmaps that meet architectural standards and support seamless system integration.
Ensure QA processes and practices are aligned with industry best practices, maintaining product integrity and performance.
System Integration Leadership: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of integration solutions for both custom-built and third-party applications.
Lead the evaluation, selection, and adoption of integration tools and platforms (e.g., APIs, middleware, SOA), ensuring interoperability across systems.
Drive the development of scalable integration frameworks that optimize performance, security, and reliability across the organization's technology stack.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT development, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure architecture and integration solutions meet cross-departmental needs.
Collaborate with business leaders to translate business needs into effective, integrated technical solutions.
Provide guidance and leadership on system integration projects, ensuring adherence to architectural principles.
Innovation & Future-Focused Strategy: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and integration best practices, recommending innovations that enhance operational efficiency.
Develop strategic roadmaps for the organization's IT architecture and system integration initiatives, positioning the company for future growth and digital transformation.
Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure that enterprise architecture and system integration efforts are compliant with all relevant regulations, including data privacy, security standards, and legal requirements.
Identify and mitigate risks related to system integration and architectural projects, ensuring business continuity and security.
Standards & Best Practices Define and promote architectural and integration standards, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with company goals.
Establish and enforce best practices in product development and QA, creating processes that ensure high-quality releases.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed: Must have a broad understanding of key business functions including production, maintenance, quality, commercial, finance, supply chain and HR
Ability to multitask and work independently in a remote setting.
Ability to manage employees who work fully remote.
Must have excellent analytical skills - strong problem-solving skills; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve
Must be change oriented - actively generates process improvements; supports and drives change, and confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways
Solution oriented with focus on innovative and proactive approaches while supporting internal and client issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (concise, decisive, direct, respectful, non-argumentative); ability to communicate at all levels within the organization both internal and external.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in professional setting in collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and clients.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Good critical thinking, questioning, and problem-solving skills required to be successful in the role.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective task management ability.
Required and Preferred Qualifications: At least 10 years of experience managing IT teams, preferably teams responsible for Enterprise systems.
Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
In the absence of a completed degree, other equivalent education, certifications, and experience, may be considered.
Proven leadership in executing IT and Business plans successfully that enable technical or business capabilities and address technology or business priorities.
A deep understanding of how to effectively advise and build IT strategy that aligns with overall business objectives.
