The Senior Director of Solutions Design is a key leadership role responsible for developing innovative and cost-effective supply chain and logistics solutions for current and prospective clients. This individual will lead the Solutions Design team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align solutions with business and client requirements, enhance service offerings, and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to create scalable and competitive logistics solutions.Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire the Solutions Design team.Player/Coach: Engage directly in solution development as demand requires.Client Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for high-profile clients.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Business Development, Operations, IT, and Finance teams.Market Insights and Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and drive innovation.Cost and Risk Management: Oversee cost modeling and financial analysis of solutions.Process Improvement: Continuously improve design methodologies and standards.Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor's, Master's degree, or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 10 years in contract logistics or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior solutions design role.Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading diverse, cross-functional teams.Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Client-Focused: Experience in developing and managing client relationships.Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and present commercially viable solutions.Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of contract logistics, distribution networks, and warehousing operations.Reasonably expected salary range up to $180,000.00 base USD + Bonus Iron Mountain is committed to intentionally creating and supporting an inclusive and diverse workforce.
