AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical Oversight:
Measures and evaluates clinical performance and competence of Managers and staff through chart audits, clinical observations, patient surveys, patient and physician input, and performance improvement activities.Develops Best Practices in the delivery of patient care, including evidence-based clinical standards of care and standard work, and ensures ongoing compliance through the development and implementation of education and competency assessments.Promotes and develops teamwork within the clinical departments.Recommends, develops, and implements policies and procedures for the Surgical Services Department.Directs and ensures the patient care delivered follows nursing standards of care in a manner that promotes positive outcomes, avoids harms to patients and promotes health and healing.Maintains operational aspects of Surgical Services in collaboration with other service areas.Provides leadership and direction in accordance with organizational and departmental goals and objectives.Develops, justifies, and maintains a budget by monitoring patient revenues and operating expenses.Organizes patient care and ensures continuity of care based upon knowledge of patient needs.Participates in quality assessment and improvement including utilization and promotion of familiarization with quality improvement standards and programs. QUALIFICATIONS Required:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school.Minimum of seven (7) years of nursing experience.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a nursing leadership position that includes oversight and direct management of department staff and resources.Current RN licensure to practice in Washington.Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position is primarily worked in a clinical and office environment. This may include irregular working hours including weekends and on-call responsibilities. Travel to off-site locations for meetings, education and training may be required. The position will frequently require walking, lifting, reaching carrying, kneeling, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of objects weighing up to 20lbs. The position will occasionally require the ability to lift, and carry, up to 50 pounds and push or pull over 50 pounds, as well as require bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, reaching overhead, sitting and standing frequently. Occasionally the position requires climbing, kneeling and crawling. The position requires continuous finger dexterity and fine manipulation. All basic life functions such as hearing, seeing, speaking, standing and walking are required.

Pay Range: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00
Compensation: Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.
Employee Benefits: Our benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement options (403(b) & 457). Medical insurance begins on day one. Add-on compensation for hourly positions rewards additional training and education. Differentials apply for evening, night, and weekend shifts. Paid Time Off (PTO) accrual is based on hours worked and encompasses holiday, sick, and vacation time. Full time employees (80 hours per pay period) can accrue 23 8-hour PTO days per year, which increases with longevity.
