Human CenteredYou'll deeply immerse yourself in knowing your internal and/or external customer(s) needs to reimagine and innovate product solutions.You'll be challenged to discover customer needs and inspire innovative solutions or products in light of industry trends, emerging technologies and business and customer insights.Business FocusedYou'll be the leader to develop a compelling portfolio or product vision for our organization to deliver capabilities that empower differentiated customer experiences and deliver breakthrough business value.You'll lead a team that translates vision into strategic product roadmaps with an agile delivery approach in partnership with Tech while managing cyber, operational and/or regulatory risks.Technology DrivenYou'll partner with Technology leaders to influence end-state architecture and drive secure, resilient, performant and scalable technology solutions that solve material customer and business problems.You'll be responsible for making technology investment decisions by assessing opportunities for reusing Enterprise solutions or for building new ones with extensibility & enterprise scalability in mind.Integrated Problem SolvingDevelop and champion a bold vision that drives meaningful outcomes by embracing the art of the possible.Build frameworks for complex decision making that enable effective debate and accelerate getting to the right answer.Transformational LeadershipYou'll influence a broad set of senior executives across the enterprise and your organization who are stakeholders or delivery partners to successfully deliver on your portfolio/product vision.You'll establish a long-term product portfolio strategy, informed by customer and business needs, to gain alignment, secure resources and overcome impediments.You'll attract, grow, empower, and inspire top product talent as they develop and deliver on their local product strategy.As part of the People Data and Platforms role, you will: Lead the data and platform strategy for Enterprise HR; you'll take a broad view of both external, market-leading data, analytics, and HRIS platforms and Capital One's enterprise HR priorities to shape an inspiring multi-year vision and roadmap for our people data and platforms.Shape our strategy around data governance, ensuring a consistently up-to-date view of what is needed to minimize risk in an ever-changing regulatory and cybersecurity environment.Lead teams of world-class product managers who will continually raise the bar on what good looks like across product strategy and roadmap development, design, documentation, testing, and monitoring.Partner with a broad range of stakeholders across business, technology, cyber, risk, and legal to ensure we are meeting the needs of our customers while maintaining a holistic view of tradeoffs and risks.Collaborate with peers leading data and platform initiatives across the enterprise to ensure continual knowledge sharing and feedback loops to drive innovation and minimize arbitrary uniqueness.We want you if you are: Intellectually Curious: You're comfortable navigating between the big ideas and executional realities to create an achievable strategic Product Vision.

You are also able to coach others and be a mentor in product development.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or military experience.At least 8 years of experience in digital product management.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.MBA or Master's degree.5+ years of experience in Agile product management.5+ years of experience in HR and talent data or platforms.
