With a global footprint and a focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability, we are expanding rapidly and seeking a strategic & execution-focused, results-driven Senior Director of Global Supply Chain and Operations to oversee and optimize our worldwide supply chain and operational processes.
Job Description Key Responsibilities: Strategic Supply Chain Leadership: Develop and execute supply chain and operational strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and support rapid growth across all retail channels.Vendor and Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and logistics providers to ensure favorable terms and reliable supply of materials and services.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Integrate supply chain processes with sales, marketing, finance, and production to align objectives and enhance overall performance.Analytics and Tools Implementation: Use advanced analytics and tools to forecast demand, manage inventory, and identify opportunities for process improvements.Risk Management: Lead contingency planning efforts to mitigate risks from disruptions, shortages, or other challenges across the supply chain.Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and professional development, driving process improvements to meet strategic goals and enhance performance.Demand and Supply Planning: Oversee demand and supply planning teams, ensuring accurate forecasts, optimal inventory levels, and alignment with customer service objectives. Ensure timely new product availability through collaboration with cross-functional teams.Key Metrics Management: Monitor and improve key metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory levels, fill rates, E&O, and supply chain costs.S&OP and S&OE Enhancement: Lead S&OP and S&OE processes, ensuring alignment across functions and resolving risks related to customer service and inventory optimization.Inventory and Purchasing Management: Contribute to the annual operating and purchasing plans, ensuring inventory levels align with corporate goals and minimizing excess and obsolete stock.Global Logistics and Distribution: Oversee logistics and distribution activities, developing cost-reducing initiatives and optimizing transportation and warehouse operations.Distribution Center Leadership: Lead operations in domestic and international distribution centers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high service standards.Operational Cost Optimization: Drive initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency in logistics, distribution, and supply chain operations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles, ideally in a consumer durable goods or distribution environment.Track Record of Success: Proven experience leading complex, global supply chains and improving key performance metrics such as forecast accuracy, customer service levels, and inventory optimization.Strategic and Analytical Expertise: Expertise in strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, distribution/logistics management, and continuous process improvement.Proven Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and mentor teams across multiple functional areas, driving collaboration and alignment to meet business goals.Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency with SAP ECC, SAP BI/PBI, SAP IBP DP and IO, and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with advanced forecasting and inventory management tools is a plus.Communication Skills: Highly skilled communicator with the ability to articulate complex supply chain strategies and analytical insights clearly to various stakeholders. Ability to influence decision-making and drive change across the organization.Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field.
