The Senior Director of Talent will oversee employee engagement and experience strategies, manage employee relations, and lead culture and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) initiatives. This role will manage a team of HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and a training delivery professional, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and promoting employee development across the company. This position is set up to work hybrid, with three days in our Falls Church, VA office each week.

ResponsibilitiesStrategic Partnership: Collaborate with leadership to identify and build talent strategies that support the attainment of business objectives.Work closely with leaders to design and implement comprehensive talent strategies that enhance organizational performance and support business goals.Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on talent-related matters, including workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design, and leadership dynamics.Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of HR Business Partners and a training delivery professional, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive team performance and development.Foster a collaborative and high-performing team, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and HR best practices.Leverage best practices and keen business acumen to prioritize efforts and further evolve the HR function in partnership with the CHRO.Employee Relations & Performance Management: Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, and investigations.Oversee investigations related to employee relations, EEOC complaints, and other sensitive matters, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.Employee Engagement & Experience: Develop and implement comprehensive employee engagement and experience strategies that enhance organizational culture and drive employee retention.Lead initiatives to improve employee recognition and overall workplace experience.Culture & DEIB Programs: Lead the development and execution of culture initiatives and DEIB programs that foster an inclusive and equitable work environment.Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure DEIB principles are integrated into all aspects of the employee lifecycle.Ensure strategically-targeted initiatives based on data and best practices are established and achieved.Enablement: Oversee the delivery of enablement programs aimed at building stronger team dynamics and general skill development.Organize and lead leadership development programs to enhance management skills.Partner with the CHRO in building out a comprehensive leadership development plan.Program Management: Continuously evaluate the impact of various initiatives and adjust or build out new initiatives to ensure impact aligns with business and cultural needs.Support the rollout of company-wide programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and successful implementation.Lead various HR programs and initiatives, driving continuous improvement and measurable results.QualificationsBachelor's degree in business area desired; MBA or Master degree preferred.Advanced HR credentials such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP are strongly preferred.A minimum of ten years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience in talent management, employee relations, and leadership development.Proven experience in managing and developing HR teams, including HR Business Partners and training professionals.In-depth knowledge of U.S. employment laws and state-specific regulations.Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to align talent strategies with business goals.Proven ability to build strong relationships and partner effectively with leaders at all levels.Experience in developing and implementing employee engagement strategies and DEIB programs.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.Equal Opportunity StatementAt Kastle, we believe that diversity makes us stronger - at work and in the world.
