The ideal candidate will be able to follow defined processes carefully, maintain a strong focus on detail, and consistently meet production goals.
While not directly managing a team, this position will play a key role in providing guidance, technical expertise, and support to other scanning associates.
The Senior Associate will ensure that procedures are followed and assist with troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Duties and Responsibilities: Complete On-site document scanning, to include but not limited to: moving and tracking originals to/from storage and scanning areas, preparing documents by removing staples and other bindings, and using scanning equipment to image loose sheets and similar items.
Perform Inventory tracking and indexing of original documents.
Perform file lookups using an electronic document management system Provide guidance, technical expertise, and support to the on-site scanning team, ensuring consistent production and quality standards.
Meet with local government customers and overseeing the transportation of materials to and from the Avenu office to the customer site.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information to municipal clients.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
3 years of experience in document scanning, digital archiving, or related fields, with a strong understanding of scanning software and equipment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Willingness to take on new challenges.
Must be reliable and responsible with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient with use of computer and software; to include Excel, Word, MS Teams and ability to learn Avenu internal production systems.
Work Environment: You will work in a customer's County Building and must wear business casual attire.
As a representative of Avenu, you are expected to conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office setting, at an individual work station, using telephone and computer Physical Demands: Lift up to 30 pounds.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine.
This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office.
The person in this position frequently communicates via telephone.
