Come join us on our journey to serve our customers and be the leader in our industry! We are currently looking for a Senior Document Specialist to join our team.
The Senior Document Specialist verifies that the chain of title for mortgage loans serviced by the company is complete and/or timely provides requested collateral/copies to internal or external requestors.
What you will do for Fay: Research and solve the chain of title to identify any deficiencies in the assignment chain.Create and nurture relationships with attorney firms, vendors and/or investors to ensure timely completion of assignment exceptions.Provide detailed notes and status updates in systems of record to maintain a fluid record of events.Upload and index documents in digital imaging systems and client sites.Ensure time frames and deadlines are met by monitoring Foreclosure and Bankruptcy milestones.Assist in training for both new team members and assist in conducting ongoing training as needed.Provide training topics/feedback from file observation/review.Provide information to make recommendations and coordinate the implementation of recommended procedures to ensure strong operational controls are in place and efficiencies are maximized.Other duties as assigned by management.What you will bring to Fay: 3-5 years experience in processing Assignments or completing title curative actions.Familiarity with Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Short Sales, and Deed in Lieu processes.3-5 years experience in handling collateral and/or collateral requests.Understand and offer solutions to resolve both complex and difficult situations.Expert in MS Excel functions.Equity and Inclusion are embedded into our way of working at Fay.
