We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and quality-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Electrical Engineer with 12 or more years of engineering and project management experience. In this role, you will apply engineering and management skills to a variety of diverse and challenging projects. You will get to use your project management experience in engineering projects to plan, organize, direct, market, and supervise project activities. Responsibilities: Prepare design tasks assigned by department manager.Perform complete construction documents, including drawings, power system studies, and specifications.Perform and supervise the execution of designs, including medium and low voltage AC, DC, single line diagrams, electrical plans, and equipment layout.Perform and supervise the execution of both interior and exterior lighting design and calculate footcandle to ensure lighting design meets IESNA requirements.Participate in meetings with clients and provide engineering support through design and construction phases including responding to AHJ comments, shop drawing review, and responding to RFI's.Review of deliverables, including QA/QC through design and construction.Serve as a technical resource to internal staff.Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.QualificationsBS in Electrical Engineering or related fieldPE license in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 12 years experience in electrical designDiverse experience that includes AEC vertical construction, Oil & Gas, medium and high voltage, telecommunicationsProject Management experience, must be able to supervise and manage projects of varying sizesProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe/Bluebeam software.Excellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent time management, supervisory, and people skills.Must have experience in supervising, estimating, and negotiating contractsPreferred Qualifications: Experience with AutoCad and REVITExperience with commercial, institutional, and higher education projectsExperience with ETAP and/or EasyPower programsRCDD certification is a plus!This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
