Senior Electrical Engineer

Our client is a well established local engineering consulting firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer PE. Role is perfect for an EE looking to make an impact at a smaller firm, career growth to office leadership, collaborative work culture and minimal travel! Location Options - Wake Forest, NC, Raleigh-Durham, NC, Henderson, NC or Clayton, NC Responsibilities: Perform site visits to document existing conditions. Create technical drawings of Electrical/Fire Alarm designs. Perform electrical calculations and analysis. Generate site lighting photometric and electrical plans. Adhere to drafting standards for consistent documents. Communicate with client and vendors. Review vendor submittals. Assist and/or mentor Project Design Managers and CAD Drafters. Other tasks as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering. 5 or more years' experience in engineering consulting firm. Licensed as PE in the state of NC. Electrical power and lighting systems design experience Ability to work in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good knowledge of building codes and National Electrical Code.
