We are growing and have a full-time, long-term opportunity for a dynamic, success driven Senior Electrical Cost Estimator to join our team! In this role, you will provide highly responsive cost consulting services in one of the firm's core business lines. Responsibilities:Create electrical cost estimates, studies, analyses, and evaluations, at all levels of project development, as part of the internal team.Provide conceptual-level estimates, detailed quantity take-off, change order reviews/reconciliations, and value engineering solutions as necessary.Provide a detailed review of all documentation and develop comprehensive cost estimates/models that communicate client's project and strategic goals.Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures.Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project goals.Actively research, solicit, and develop sources/vendors for compiling and maintaining accuracy of cost information.Conduct meetings with clients.Provide technical support on proposals, meetings, and presentations.Advanced level of electrical cost estimating experience across vertical construction/engineering projects, to include, but not limited to conceptual estimating, take-offs, change order review/reconciliation, value engineering solutions, etc.Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents at all levels of design.Expert user of On Screen Takeoff (OST) software or similar industry software.Advanced Microsoft Excel user and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Bachelor's Degree preferred.What's in it for you?At OCMI, we take care of you so that you can make an immediate impact on our clients and our truly unique, friendly culture.
