Key ResponsibilitiesSupport electrical design engineer with system design, integration and test/debug in PCBA level, module level and system level.Work with electrical design engineers and systems engineers to develop, implement and maintain test plans, procedures, report and test criteria for electrical, electro-optical and electro-mechanical sub-systems.Work with NPI team to design and develop automated test equipment including hardware and software for validation, verification and production testing.Work with various teams including FW/SW team, NPI team, validation team, systems team on validation of various functionalities and various issues related to electrical, electro-mechanical and/or electro-optical system.Participate in schematic review and layout review with electrical design engineers. Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseFamiliar with various test equipment including high-speed digital o-scope, arbitrary waveform generator, pulse generator, power supplies, LCR meter, etc.Python for data collection and analysis, equipment control for automated data collection.MS office including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.Design software and electrical simulation software.Experience in functional safety is a plus. QualificationsBS or MS in Electrical Engineering.3-5 years of experience.Excellent verbal/written communication skills.Excellent analytical skills.Excellent problem-solving skills.Experience in overall electrical system architecture. Cepton is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $120,000–$160,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
