Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Job DescriptionPrimary Function of Position Intuitive Surgical, the world leader in surgical robotics, is seeking an electrical engineer to join the product development team. This position will be responsible for creating innovative electronic PC boards with emphasis in motor control and power circuits, but also containing communications, processing and other advanced capabilities.
Candidates must be self-motivated, creative, resourceful, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, and possess good technical breadth and depth.
Roles and Responsibilities: Own, as Responsible Engineer, a variety of PC boards, especially those that are tightly integrated with robotic mechanics.Interface with other engineering disciplines including mechanical and software.Work closely with the FPGA programming team to provide full functionality to the circuit design.Follow rigorous design control methodology from design specification through design transfer to manufacturing.Write detailed design documentation, including specifications and verification plans.Perform other electrical engineering duties as needed.
