Notability's goal is to bring the expressivity of paper to the digital realm, so people can learn, study, and collaborate together better. Digital tools offer fantastic benefits, but the input methods can feel constraining — sometimes we need more than typed text. We want to bring the best of both worlds together: the flexibility and organic feel of paper, and the searchability, convenience, collaboration, and power of computers. These values are reflected in the way we work: we value empathy for our users, great design, and believe the best ideas can come from anywhere.
We pioneered this concept of digital paper when Notability was released in 2010 alongside the first iPad. Now we're building the next generation of paper, and that includes bringing Notability to Android. We are looking for a senior engineer to help the development of the Android version of Notability.
