As a senior member of the team, this role is heavily involved in client relationships, project management, and related consulting efforts. Ability to effectively develop and manage project scope, schedule and budget. Coordination and execution of field activities/data collection in accordance with SOPs and QAPPs. Technical interpretation of project specific data and site geology/hydrogeology to develop conceptual site models. Development of appropriate remedial strategies. Use advanced technical writing skills to produce clear, concise, and accurate audience-focused reports and communications. Actively lead and mentor junior staff in project management, effective communication, and technical topics. Concurrently manage multiple projects of varying complexity. Assistance in the development of new policies and procedures. Participate in marketing efforts including proposal development (writing, scope, and fee negotiation), interview participation and presentations. Prepare and submit invoices in a timely manner. Participate in external professional organizations. This role will spend the majority of the time onsite at our office in Milwaukee, with some travel to client and project sites within the Greater Milwaukee / Southeastern WI area. Requirements: 10+ years of relevant experience. Degree in Engineering, Geology, or related field. P.E. and/or P.G. designation strongly preferred. 6+ years of project management experience completing Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, site investigations, remedial action planning and implementation. Experience using Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of CAD/GIS is a plus. Effective communication – both oral and written. Efficient time utilization with an emphasis on detail. Understanding of CERCLA regulations, RCRA regulations, TSCA regulations, and applicable Wisconsin regulations (including ch NR 500 and 700 series) helpful. Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges. Effective proactive written and oral communication with internal and external stakeholders including clients and regulatory agencies. A desire to mentor and coach developing project and staff engineers-in-training.
