What you'll doAs the Senior Engineer – Mobile Products & Platform, you will play a critical role in driving the development and delivery of our mobile applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience. Key responsibilities include:
Design, develop, maintain and release our iOS and Android applications.Drive the technical architecture and implementation of mobile platform and solutions from ground up, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and performant.Collaborate closely with product managers, designers and other stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and timelines for mobile products, features and projects.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Mobile products and platform team, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations to team members, coaching and mentoring them to help them reach their full potential.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in mobile development, advocating for the adoption of new tools and techniques as appropriate.What you'll bringWe expect all Scouts to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset. Here's what you'll bring:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a focus on mobile development.Proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.Strong technical proficiency in mobile development technologies and frameworks, such as Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter.Strong knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Experience operating in start-up settings and launching products.Passion for mobile technology and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment is preferred.What you'll gainThe benefits of joining Scout include the chance to build products and a company from the ground up.
