Objective of the Position:
Design, conduct and assist research and development in thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) laboratory and processing workshop under guidance of lab manager using standard procedures and equipment.
Main Tasks:
Under general supervision of lab team leader perform routine scientific research tasks mostly using standard techniques, procedures and equipment.Analyze and document results, prepare technical reports, examinations and summaries.Adapt and optimize methods and procedures according to the project requirement.Prepare, run and maintain lab equipment such as reactors, analyzing equipment, etc.Prepare, run and maintain workshop equipment such as injection molding and extruder, etc.Perform general lab assignments (e.g. raw material inventory review, lab house-keeping) as assigned.Comply with information protection (IP) and EHS regulations concerning safety, health and environment.Contribute to technical solution finding process within the scope of existing technologies and procedures.Gain and maintain familiarity with relevant current scientific literature and proactively making own suggestions.Support business team on customer requests and problem solving. Main Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Polymer Science and Engineering.6-7 years of relevant TPU experience (Bachelor's) or 2-4 years of relevant TPU experience (Master's).Knowledge and experience in polyurethane (PU) chemistry or polymer processing is a plus.English: reading, writing, and speaking; Mandarin: Fluent.Strong hands-on ability.Basic knowledge on Ms office (Word, PowerPoints).
