Developand design software applications, translating user needs into systems architecture. Assess and validate application performance and integration of component systems and provide process flow diagrams. Testthe engineering resilience of software and automation tools. Assess and incorporate user story analysisand elaboration to optimize software solutions. Apply visualization and other techniques to fast-track concepts. Reengineer systems and code for continuous improvement.Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsiblesoftware design, development, testing, and implementation experience. Experience must include 1 year with each of the following: analyzing user requirements, and defining and designing technical specifications; and Agile, Bitbucket,Big Data, distributed systems, Jenkins, Hadoop, HBase, HDFS, Hive, Kafka, MapReduce, Oozie, Pig, Python, performance tuning, RDBMS, Shell scripting, Spark, Sqoop, and UNIX.
