Leading the effort of creating our technology strategy and roadmap with a primary focus on designing, implementing and managing security controls to safeguard enterprise data in compliance with regulatory frameworks, you'll be responsible for the following:Your Impact Design, build and implement security capabilities and services to protect Palo Alto Networks enterprise and data landscapeDevelop strategies to maintain data security architecture, prevent unauthorized access, data breaches and ensure data governance across the enterpriseImplement and manage data loss prevention (DLP) tools, and integrate with other systems like SIEM, CASB, etc.Work with Security Operations team to investigate data breach incidents, identify root cause and provide appropriate remediation or risk reduction plansBe the first customer for Palo Alto Networks' DLP products and provide practitioner feedback to the product teams Collaborate with legal and governance, risk and compliance (GRC) teams to ensure adherence to data protection regulationsEvaluate ongoing practices and procedures, technical documentation, and diagrams for appropriate security measure maturity and effectivenessBe hands on and lead POC with rigorous benchmarks on security technology innovations and adoptionsBe a strong thought leader and clearly communicate and build support for your ideasQualificationsYour Experience8+ years of combined experience as a data security engineer, cloud security engineer or software engineerExtensive experience in information security, security engineering or data security rolesDeep understanding of data security in enterprise environmentsStrong experience in designing, implementing and managing data security solutions (DLP, encryption, database security, etc.)In depth knowledge with public cloud architecture, such as GCP, AWS and Azure, with focus on securing data in the cloud environmentsIn depth knowledge of threat model, network security, encryption, authentication and authorizationExpert level experience performing threat modeling and design reviews to assess security implications and requirementsExperience with programming / scripting in any language (Python / Golang / Powershell etc.)Experience in security engineering related to identity & access, network security, intrusion prevention, monitoring, analytical and correlation tools a PLUSCertification in any of the following is a plus - Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), OSCP, OSCE, PCNSE, Google Cloud Architect, AWS Cloud Architect, CISSP-ISSEP - Sec. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
