Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.
Hill-LiRo is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of environmental engineering analysis and design tasks related to: planning, environmental site investigation (subsurface and hazardous materials), remediation design and remedial operations, Coordination and presentation of design submissions with clients and environmental regulatory agencies, Perform and manage site investigations to observe and document existing conditions Supervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications and coordinate with other disciplines as required to deliver quality engineering services Complete and review planning documents, design calculations; assist in the preparation of bid packages, design drawings and technical specifications Provide responses and solutions to technical and contractual issues during the projects Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new construction Engage with existing clients to expand our services and pursue new clients to support growth of the environmental business in the region Assist in the preparation of proposals for environmental consulting services Attend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firm Mentor and develop junior engineering staff Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering or Science 10+ years experience in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Consulting MA PE required MA LRP is a plus Ability to provide guidance to junior level engineers and scientists Understanding and application of environmental regulations, hazardous materials handling and disposal requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.
