Job Description: CornFed Concrete Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. This role offers autonomy, flexibility, and excellent benefits. The Senior Estimator/Project Manager will be responsible for estimating and managing concrete projects from inception to completion. This position reports directly to our owner.
Responsibilities: Project Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for concrete projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services. Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to develop comprehensive estimates. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to obtain competitive pricing and ensure accurate estimates. Present and justify estimates to clients, project stakeholders, and senior management. Project Management: Oversee all phases of concrete projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution. Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project quality, schedule, and budget. Qualifications: Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.High school diploma or equivalent.Preventative maintenance experience is preferred but not required. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction environment, with a strong preference for concrete project experience. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. OSHA 10 or 30 is preferred.
