The Neuroscience Institute (NI) is searching for a Senior Executive Assistant. This position is responsible for performing the administrative duties in direct support of the executive team. Note: This is a fixed-term, part-time position. This is a three-month position, expected to being in July and last through September. Estimated scheduled weekly hours for the part time position: 15-20 hours.
Primary responsibilities include administrative-level support to the Director, which includes calendar management, project management, making appropriate referrals, coordinating travel, processing expense reports/reimbursements and organization of special events, meetings, including agendas, logistics management, and meeting collateral. This position serves as a liaison with various departments as well as external contacts. This position will regularly manage sensitive information and requires maintaining strict confidentiality and discretion. You should demonstrate: Demonstrate the highest level of integrity while promoting CMU's mission and values. Ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge and appropriately apply it on the job. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong organizational and planning skills.

Qualifications: Associates Degree in a related field preferred. At least 5 years administrative support experience required; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools such as Google Drive, Box; problem solving and reasoning skills; organizational and planning skills; and strong interpersonal skills. Higher education, or experience at Carnegie Mellon preferred.
