Overview:
Reporting to the VP Finance, this role works closely with the wider Locaria Finance Team, Stagwell Head office, and the shared Finance function.

Qualifications: Qualified finance professional CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CFA preferred7+ years of Financial Analysis & Accounting experience requiredExperience with SOX preferredFluent in English, with the ability to confidently communicate complex analysis to senior global stakeholders and exert influenceFluent in UkrainianProficient in financial modelling and financial analysisNaturally curious, with the ability to ask the right questions and challenge the status quoThrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentExperience working in a client service industry, preferably language services or content productionFamiliarity with Maconomy and/or One Stream preferredAdvanced Excel is preferred – intermediate knowledge essential. Must be able to handle large volumes of data from the accounts system and interpret this data in Excel. Experience with Google Sheets also preferredExperience working with remote international teamsTeam player able to understand the bigger picture but also prepared to get into the detail to get the job doneIndependent time management and prioritization skillsExcellent attention to detail and presentation skills Required Skills:
The key roles and responsibilities are:

Revenue:
This role will work closely with our Revenue Manager to ensure:
Compliance with SOX on Revenue RecognitionIntercompany balances are aligned and recognized correctly, helping to resolve any out of balances in a timely mannerSupporting the Revenue Manager on all billing calls for Revenue RecognitionWork closely with the AR Team to ensure that all aged debt is being collected and helping to facilitate resolution of issues with the teamWorking with the Revenue Manager and Channel Managers to ensure that all Contracts are correct and in place for both Direct and Indirect clientsAssisting in Revenue Tracker automation projectLeading/participating in other key Revenue projects Cash Flow Forecasting:
Implementing an accurate cash flow forecasting process across the Locaria group:
Working closely with the wider Locaria Finance Team to ensure understanding of key cash flow movementsWorking with the Stagwell Treasury Team to provide bi-weekly submissions of CF ForecastImplementing actual cash flow vs forecast and analyzing variances Banking / HMRC Management: Manage Bank Accounts And HMRC For Locaria Group: Manage user profiles of all users of our various bank accountsEnsure that all Payments are reviewed and approved in a timely mannerRelease payments in the bankProvide the Finance Team CC statements to ensure accurate bookings in the P&LEnsure the wider finance team are aware of all key HMRC submission deadlines such as Corporation Tax, VAT etc., ensuring no penalties are incurred Month End Reporting/monthly Tasks:
Work closely with the wider Finance team to support the month-end close process:
Ensure that all month-end postings are done timely in line with the close calendarEnsure that all month-end timelines are met and closed on timeCo-ordinate month-end catch-ups for the team at month-end to ensure any issues for month-end are discussed and help provided across the team where requiredHelp to co-ordinate the resolution of any issues that arise at month-endDrive month-end improvements to close the month-end by WD4 so WD5 is for review ahead of submissionsLeading the actualization process for Locaria Group, working with the Accounting Manager to ensure the correct accounting policies are followed and this is done on a monthly basisBi-weekly reviews with AR Team to review and track progress on aged debt to provide an update to VP of Finance/Accounting team on Bad Debt provision at month-end CAP Integration:
This role will also work to ensure that all CAP Finance processes (and perhaps wider business processes where required) are integrated where possible to the wider Locaria Group Processes, ensuring that all processes are standardized where possible and all that can be brought in-house is.

Ad-hoc Tasks: Key point of Contact for Stagwell Finance ensuring that all key deadlines are communicated in a timely manner to the wider Locaria finance teamAssisting with finance system development and ongoing reviews to find efficiencies within current way of working, using Automation and AI toolsProvide support for audit to the Accounting Manager and work closely with our auditors in order to provide timely statutory accounts, when/if requiredReview and update where necessary current Excel models and forms of analysisProvide back up for checking & approving the supplier payments, Freelancer payments, and expenses prepared by accounts payable and back up for releasing payments in the bankProviding any banking support/backup where requiredTo absorb any other ad-hoc tasks Process And Controls: Ensuring all accounting and reporting complies with SOX controlsMaking process improvements where possible Equal Opportunities: You'll Live Up To The Locarian Values: We take content furtherWe grow togetherCelebrating IndividualityDoing good along the wayWith care D&I statement:
